Bill, the owner, is always warm and friendly. Live music nightly at 6pm and the 2 new bartenders: Taylor and Ashley are wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant as your go to place!

I've been coming to Thai One On since before the pandemic and watched this place grow from a small take out place to a really good restaurant and bar experience with live music every night. It has had its growing pains for sure but what restaurant hasn't in the last few years? The staff treats you like family. For example, my aunt recently came from Ohio and the bartender, Nicole, remembered exactly what she ordered 3 months prior.... Tito's Martini (straight up with a twist) and the extra dirty ice from the shaker. It made my aunt's day! Bill, Pic, Taylor, Nicole and Ni are all great and keep me coming back. My favorite dishes are the Tom Yum Soup, Drunken Noodles, Siamese Twins, and my wife loves the Salmon! I can't wait for them to get a new sushi chef as that is the only thing I miss.

I love Thai One On. Bill, Pik Ni and Ashley are terrific. But I had yet another bad experience yesterday afternoon with Nicole. Her customer service and rudeness need to be account for. I've been a very good customer over the years. If if doesn't improve I'll stop visiting this place.

Love this place... I don't have pictures forgot to take it ~ I was that hungry lol We started with the spring rolls very good. We had the pad Thai with chicken and Panang curry. All delicious as usual. Door dashed and it all was hot when delivered. 5 stars

Went here for the first time today. The place is amazing. Just had lunch which included an excellent main course along with a beautiful presentation of salad, crispy roll and soup. Many choices and very reasonable price. The owner is Bill who was so helpful and friendly. There is a beautiful full bar and exquisite decor in dining room. They feature Thai food along with other asian food including sushi. I pass this place almost everyday but never was impressed with the outside presentation thinking it was another casual take out place. Was I wrong! The owner also served us a complementary dessert!! Try it, you will like it! Also they feature live music every night!!

Ambiance: A hidden gem in the suburbs of Carlsbad. Great place to get cocktails and hear lovely music. Beautifully decorated restaurants. Food: Food was excellent, so flavorful. Service: knocked off a star due to slow service. I don't think we came on a busy night. Most of the tables were empty. But it took a while for the serve to come get our drink order.

I don't know why La Costa always seems like such a long drive. it's one of those "it's not far but you can't get there from here" situations. La Costa was Mafia built with money from the Teamster Pension Fund. the development was a wholly owned subsidiary of organized time. more than a decade before the Penthouse exposé (I swear I only bought the issue for the article), folks around these parts referred to La Costa as La Costa Nostra. the irony is Bob Guccione (Penthouse publisher) had a house there. still waiting for an invite to the Playboy mansion but back in the day, Guccione's place in La Costa was popping. rumor has it, La Costa's where wise guys met Nixon cronies to work out the deal for a Teamster endorsement (the only major union to ever endorse a Republican candidate) if Nixon got Hoffa outta prison so Teamster president, Frank Fitzsimmons, could access his rival. Nixon won re-election and Jimmy Hoffa wound up on a permanent leave of absence, but I digress. was at La Costa High for a wrestling tournament. between Wyatt's matches, I went looking for somewhere to eat and stumbled across THAI ONE ON. I've eaten dozens of times at the Vista location, and am always down for eating Thai. HALF MOON TON (crispy avocado and cream cheese filled wontons) served with Thai Sweet Chili Sauce were okay. they didn't get all that crispy and as you might deduce from the menu description not particularly traditional. at best, a guilty pleasure. I had the SIAM BEEF SALAD (grilled marinated beef, mixed greens, shredded carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, cilantro, shallots, and spicy lime dressing) and it was delightful. long day for dad supporting his wrestling son and the salad was one of the highlights.
